WHAT TO EXPECT
WHAT TO EXPECT
Hello! If you’re reading this, it may be because you are looking for a church home. We’re going to keep it real with you – if you’re looking for the perfect church, you’re at the wrong place. However, if you’re looking for a church family that will challenge you spiritually and practically, that will love you regardless of where you’ve been, and help you and your family draw closer to God, then you’re at the right place!
God has an incredible plan for your life, and here at Bridge Church, it is our privilege to help you discover it and live it out.
Where should I park?
We are located at 9066 South 300 West in Sandy, UT. We are only a stone’s throw away from the 15 Freeway. We share the industrial park with BMW Motorcycle and several home service companies (e.g., bath fitters). There is plenty of parking, just follow our directional signs and you can’t go wrong. When you arrive, you can expect to be greeted with a warm welcome, a complimentary cup of coffee, and help from our team to find a seat and enjoy the experience.
What about my children?
We have got them covered!! During our weekly services, all kids from 6 weeks to 6th-grade experience a safe, secure, age-appropriate, and creative environment that is designed especially for them. If your children are Junior High or High School age they are invited to be a part of our vibrant and relevant Student Ministry.
Will I be singled out since I’m new?
Absolutely not! You’re our guest and that would be a horrible thing to do to you. Plus, every Sunday we have people just like you who are checking out Bridge Church for the first time. Our goal is for you to have the best experience possible, which means we won’t single you out in any way.
What should I wear?
You’re welcome to go all out and come in your Sunday’s best. Or if you have to dress up for work all week long and want the weekends to be comfy, feel free to dress accordingly. We tend to dress casually, and you’ll see everything from shorts and baseball caps to business casual.
How long are your services?
Our Sunday experience typically runs about an hour and 20 minutes, but don’t worry – time flies when you’re having fun! This service includes live music with a band, engaging Bible teaching that promises to be practical. theMID, our Wednesday evening Bible study, is an hour in duration and is taught by various members of our teaching staff.
Am I welcome if I am not a Christian?
100%! In fact, we’ve designed Bridge Church with you in mind. We want our church to be a place where you can belong before you believe. You can have questions, doubts, hurts, and pains and you’re still always welcome.
Are you going to ask me for money?
We prefer to use giving boxes, which are located in a couple of different locations around the church. We don’t want anyone to feel obligated or pressured to give (2 Cor 9:7). We will mention the boxes each week and invite people to give during the message.
How can I meet others and get connected?
There are many ways to get involved. You can begin by attending one of our Connect Groups. In each of these, you can build friendships, learn more about the life of our church, and have the opportunity to grow in your faith. We do life together here at Bridge Church!
We’d also encourage you to attend Growth Track. It’s through Growth Track that we communicate more about the vision of Bridge Church, share the “essentials” of how to grow in your faith, discover your gifts, and have the opportunity to begin serving in a ministry.
